With more than one sweep we can have them can sweep different sections of the course. Sweeps can pair up and sweep together if we have more than two sweeps.

Course Checker High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Part of the "Cobweb Crew"

In order to make sure markings are all in place for the race on race day, we will have at least one runner leave at around 7am to run the 10k course and check that everything is marked and set the correct way and no hazards have fallen on the course or appeared overnight. Course checkers should be able to return before the start of the 10k race at 9:00am and hopefully well before.

When they finish, the course checker(s) should report back to the race director immediately about the condition of the course and any areas that need attention. This is a crucial task that helps make sure all of the runners are as safe as possible.

Location

Meet up at main tent in the grass near meadow parking lot, leave from meadow lot.
