The mission of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) is to prepare broad-based scholars, researchers and practitioners who are leaders, lifelong learners, and productive global citizens; to provide the core curricular foundation for the University, and to enrich the University’s artistic and cultural environment.
The vision of the SAS is to lead in the preparation and education of students and attain greater prominence in the global environment through research and creative expression, and its interdisciplinary programs that are recognized for academic excellence, and intellectual breadth and depth.
